This policy applies specifically to players under 18 years old who are participating in adult teams (Open Age cricket). It sets out the guidelines for using shared changing and showering facilities.
Young players who feel uncomfortable sharing changing or showering facilities with adults are not required to do so. They may choose to:
No young player should ever feel pressured to use shared facilities if they are uncomfortable doing so.
Before any young player can use shared changing facilities with adults, parental consent must be obtained. This is collected through the Open Age Consent Form as part of the junior membership registration process.
Parents should discuss this policy with their child to understand their preferences and comfort level.
The club will make reasonable efforts to arrange for parental supervision of young players during changing if families request it. Please contact the club in advance if you would like to arrange supervision.
